Australian-Birdsong-Improvisations

This album is my first venture into working with natural sounds - in this case the amazing songs of Australian birds. The birds’ calls are used as the melodic basis of each piano piece. Harmonies are added and then improvised upon with relish by the piano. The overall effect is music that is engaging, uplifting, relaxing and what I call organic.
